“A semicolon is used when an author could have ended their sentence but chose not to.” This sentence speaks volumes during the month of September. Known for Suicide Awareness, the semi-colon is a strong and well-known symbol. Respawn has now added a new badge in Apex Legends to raise awareness during the month of September. All you have to do is log in to Apex Legends to receive the badge.

Mental health is something plenty have been more open about in the past few years. While in the past many may have not felt comfortable opening up there have been plenty of outlets to help. Respawn has taken a stand by raising awareness to show their support in the matter with the new Semi-Colon Badge. In the video package members of the Respawn team open up about their experiences with dealing with this sensitive topic.
This is not the first time Respawn has shown its support. They have also created badges that support LGBTQ+ Pride and Progress, Black Lives Matter, and Stop Asian Hate.
