Battlefield 4 is hands down a great game and is still played by fans to this day. Maybe it’s due to the graphics or something about how the game doesn’t feel dated since its release in 2013. While there is a dedicated fan base that still plays Battlefield 4 it’s quickly seen a massive player spike since the launch of the Battlefield 2042 trailer. Not only do newer players get to experience one of Battlefield’s best entries in the series but servers have also been increased for player activity.
There is something quite satisfying about jumping back into Battlefield 4. While many players nowadays will boot up their system and jump into either Apex Legends or Warzone, Battlefield 4 is one of those games that sucks you in. One of the best things about Battlefield is seeing your surroundings literally fall apart as the match continues on. One of the coolest things is the easter egg on Paracel Storm where the Megalodon is activated in a massive storm.
Not only that but there are plenty of maps to destroy, tons of great spots for sniping on maps, or even maps where you can spray down the enemy team in a crowded space.
Battlefield 2042 is set to release on October 22, 2021. Battlefield 2042 will be focused solely on multiplayer so this will give new players a chance to see what Battlefield is all about especially in the multiplayer modes.
