Fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of both a trailer and name for Battlefield 6. The reveal trailer for Battlefield 6, officially known as Battlefield 2042, was five minutes of pure nonstop action. The newest entry in the Battlefield series is being called the most ambitious and there is a great reason for it.
So far what we know about the upcoming game is there will be massive maps, dynamic weather, and three multiplayer modes. There will not be a campaign mode nor will there be a battle royale that rumors might have suggested. Map sizes will be 128 players and will be available for both PC and the latest consoles. The reveal trailer also shows off a robot dog joining the fight.
DICE finally announced Battlefield 2042 — an FPS set amid a worldwide ecological disaster featuring dynamic sandstorms, tornadoes, and more with 128-player matches on PC and PS5/Xbox Series X|S. There won’t, however, be a campaign mode. https://t.co/3PplP9eSnP pic.twitter.com/h8iguRBekb
