Last November EA & Respawn had announced their plans to bring Apex Legends to the mobile market. While details were scarce about the project EA could only confirm they were aiming for a 2020/2021 release. A few new details have been released regarding the Apex Legends mobile game. Here is everything we know so far about the Apex Legends mobile game.
As we mentioned it was announced back in late 2019 that EA had intentions of bringing their popular battle royale to mobile gaming. Andrew Wilson, EA chief executive, said the game would be ready by the 2021 fiscal year. That fiscal year would start on October 1, 2020. It is no secret that Apex Legends is one of EA’s biggest games right now. EA has stated Apex Legends is a “major long term franchise”.
In an announcement made on Twitter by Daniel Ahmad an industry insider, and analyst, it was confirmed EA found a developer for the game.
Electronic Arts has confirmed they’re working with a partner in China to create a mobile Apex Legends that will be released globally.

This is a great start for the mobile version of Apex Legends now that developers have been secured. However, no official date has been set for release but EA is still eyeing a 2020/2021 release. Capitalizing on the success of Apex Legends this early on with a mobile release is a smart thing to do. Hopefully, in the next coming months, we get more information regarding the mobile release. You can be sure we will keep you updated.
